Hi, I'm Rachel! A lover of dogs, the ocean, and discovering new places and making genuine connections.
I have been working professionally behind the camera for 5+ years now and I love capturing real, warm, genuine smiles and poses that show who my clients are as people. If there's one thing you should know about my work and how I shoot, it's that I LOVE candid's. My goal is to find what makes you unique! I strive to capture the little things in those moments when you didn't think anyone was watching. I want you to be able to look back at your album and remember the love and all the fun we had that day.
I've had the privilege of working with 50+ clients over the years from shooting 8+ hour weddings in all different seasons (both indoors and out) to working with couples, families, and seniors. My approach is making sure you feel confident and comfortable behind the camera so I can capture your best and most genuine self.
The EXPERIENCE
STEP 01
ConsultatioN
The first step is setting up a time to meet either in person or by phone where we get to know each other and go into detail exactly what you're looking for and the images you're dreaming of. Contact me here to begin this process.
STEP 02
Secure your date
Your proposal, contract, and invoice will be sent right to your email where you can view, download, and sign. Once your date is secured, you'll be in touch with me until the date of your session and I'm happy to provide any style tips, timelines, and photo templates that will help your session run smoothly.
STEP 03
Picture time
It's finally the date of your session, so let the fun begin!
STEP 04
Delivering photos
You'll receive a gallery preview within a few days of your session to get you excited! Then, your full gallery will be available for viewing within the agreed amount of time as stated in the contract (which is anywhere between three to eight weeks from the date of your session) via an online gallery. From there, you can view, download, share, and order prints!
FAQ
Do you travel? Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
I LOVE to travel, so yes! If you would like me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee that is outside of the package pricing, depending on the location. But not to worry! I always try to find the cheapest way to come! (Trust me, I am a finder of cheap travel pro.)
If the photography location is local (within 15 miles of me), no travel fee will be required! Anything further out, I charge a rate of $0.75 a mile to the location and back. Does your destination require a plane ticket? Here is what I account for:
-Round trip plane ticket
-A rental car
-2 nights stay in a hotel/airbnb
-Food by day
Can we request SPECIFIC shots?
Absolutely! I want your vision to become a reality so I encourage you to share any and all images you want to try and recreate.
How does payment work? Do you have a pricing guide?
I require a 20% non-refundable retainer at the time of booking for all packages. The remainder of the balance will be due on or before the date of your session and can be made via Venmo or cash. To see more information on my services, please visit here.

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
We can most definitely reschedule if the weather is bad, or we can always embrace it! (As long as our lives aren't in danger of course.)
